Conway MS 829

The "MS 829" model from Conway, launched in 2021, is a versatile bike that stands out for its robust build and good value for money. With a retail price of 899 euros, it represents an attractive option for cyclists looking for a reliable and high-performance bike. The MS 829’s frame is made of aluminium, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight construction. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of riders.

The bike’s braking system comprises SHIMANO ‘BR-MT200’ brakes and ‘BL-MT200’ brake levers, complemented by SHIMANO ‘SM-RT10’ brake discs with a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. This combination ensures reliable and effective braking performance in a variety of conditions. The bike is fitted with the SHIMANO “Deore RD-M6100 Shadow Plus” rear derailleur and offers 12 gears, controlled via the SHIMANO “Deore SL-M6100” shift levers. This enables precise and smooth gear changes.

The ROCKSHOX “Judy TK” fork, with 100 mm of travel and Poploc function, ensures a comfortable ride by effectively absorbing shocks and bumps. The bike is also fitted with Conway “SP 610” one-piece pedals and a SHIMANO bottom bracket. The SHIMANO “FC-MT510” with 32 teeth and a length of 170 mm, as well as the SHIMANO “CS-M6100” cassette with a range of 10–51 teeth, offer a wide gear ratio range for different types of terrain.

The handlebars are CONWAY risers with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, complemented by CONWAY “Sport” grips. The stem also has a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is in the ZS44 / ZS56 format. The RODI “Blackrock 23” rims, combined with KENDA “Booster” tyres (56-622) at the front and rear, ensure good traction and stability. The hubs are SHIMANO “HB-TX505” QR at the front and SHIMANO “FH-MT401” QR at the rear, supported by black steel spokes.

The Conway “3378 light” saddle and the CONWAY patented seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, round off the package and offer comfort on longer rides. Overall, the Conway MS 829 is a well-equipped bike that is suitable for both beginners and experienced cyclists who value quality and functionality.
