Conway MS 5.7

The “MS 5.7” model from Conway, released in 2024, is a robust and versatile aluminium hardtail bike that offers excellent value for money at a price of 729 EUR. The frame is made from high-quality aluminium and measures 41 cm. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 14 kg, making it a solid choice for a variety of riding conditions.

The MS 5.7 is fitted with a reliable 27-speed SHIMANO ‘Alivio’ groupset, complemented by SHIMANO ‘Altus SL-M2010’ shift levers. The front derailleur is also a SHIMANO “Altus FD-M2000”, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. The brakes are TEKTRO “HD-M280” models, with matching brake levers and 160 mm brake discs at both the front and rear, ensuring effective braking performance.

An RST “Blaze RLO” fork with 100 mm of travel offers additional damping and control on uneven terrain. The SHIMANO “FC-M101” crankset with 22/30/40-tooth chainrings and the SHIMANO “CS-HG200” cassette with 11–34 teeth allow for versatile adaptation to different riding conditions. The drivetrain is completed by the KMC “Z99” chain.

The spec is rounded off by a CONWAY riser handlebar with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, ensuring comfortable handling. The CONWAY “Sport” grips offer additional grip, whilst the 31.8 x 70 mm stem enhances steering precision. The headset is a ZS44 / ZS56 model with a tapered steerer tube.

The wheels feature RODI “Blackrock 23” rims, fitted with WTB “Ranger” tyres in size 57-584, mounted on both the front and rear. The hubs are CONWAY “Alloy” quick-release models, which, combined with black steel spokes, ensure stability and reliability.

The SELLE ROYAL “Vivo Athletic Ergo” saddle offers comfort on long rides and is mounted on a CONWAY patented seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 300 mm. The bike’s geometry is characterised by a stack of 600 mm, a seat tube length of 406 mm and a top tube length of 570 mm. The seat tube angle is 74 degrees, with a head tube length of 120 mm and a chainstay length of 435 mm. The standover height is 753 mm and the wheelbase is 1068 mm, giving the bike a balanced and stable ride.
