Conway ML 4

The "ML 4" model from Conway, launched in 2021, is a sturdy and versatile bicycle designed specifically for women. The aluminium frame is specially designed as the “CONWAY Lady”, which not only gives the bike stability but also an attractive appearance. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, the bike offers sufficient load-bearing capacity for the rider and additional luggage.

The “ML 4” is fitted with a SHIMANO “Acera RD-360” 8-speed derailleur, which, in combination with the SHIMANO “Altus SL-M310” shifter and the “Altus FD-M313” front derailleur, ensures precise and reliable gear changes. The SHIMANO “FC-TY301” crankset features three chainrings with 24, 34 and 42 teeth, whilst the SHIMANO “HG31” cassette, with a range from 11 to 34 teeth, enables a wide variety of gear ratios. The drivetrain is completed by the KMC “Z72” chain.

Braking performance is provided by the SHIMANO “BR-MT200” hydraulic disc brakes, which are paired with the SHIMANO “BL-MT200” brake levers. The brake discs, both front and rear, have a diameter of 160 mm and are from the SHIMANO “SM-RT10” series. This setup ensures reliable braking power in a variety of conditions.

The bike’s suspension is complemented by the RST “Gila ML” fork with 100 mm of travel, ensuring sufficient comfort on uneven terrain. The IMPAC “Ridgepac” tyres, in size 54-584 at both the front and rear, offer good grip and stability on a variety of surfaces. The CONWAY hollow-wall rims and the SHIMANO hubs (front: “HB-TX505”, rear: “FH-TX505”) contribute to the bike’s durability and reliability.

The handlebars are CONWAY risers with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 700 mm, allowing for a comfortable and controlled riding position. The grips are CONWAY “Sport” models, designed to offer additional comfort. The stem and seatpost are also by CONWAY, with the latter having a diameter of 31.6 mm. The saddle, a Conway “4321 Lady”, is specially tailored to the needs of female riders.

The bike is rounded off by the SHIMANO “BB-UN100” bottom bracket and Welgo “C280DU” pedals. The price for this model is 499 EUR, making it an attractive option for value-conscious buyers looking for a high-quality, well-equipped bike.
