Conway MC 529

The Conway “MC 529” model from 2021 offers a solid specification at a price of 749 EUR. The frame is made of aluminium and contributes to a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, giving the bike a robust and durable structure. The bike is fitted with SHIMANO “BR-MT200” brakes, which, together with the SHIMANO “BL-MT200” brake levers and SHIMANO “SM-RT10” brake discs, each with a diameter of 160 mm at both the front and rear, to ensure reliable braking performance.

The bike is fitted with a SHIMANO “Alivio RD-M3100” 9-speed derailleur, which, together with the SHIMANO “Altus SL-M2000” shifter and the SHIMANO “Altus FD-M2000” front derailleur, offers a total of 27 gears. This allows for versatile adaptation to different riding conditions. The RST “Blaze RLO” fork, with 100 mm of travel, provides additional comfort on uneven terrain.

For lighting, the model is fitted with the HERRMANS “H-Black MR4” front light and the HERRMANS “H-Trace Mini” rear light, which features a parking light. The SHIMANO “DH3D37” QR hub dynamo reliably supplies power to the lights. The Welgo “C280DU” one-piece pedals, the SHIMANO “BB-UN100” bottom bracket and the SHIMANO “FC-M2000” crankset with 22/30/40 teeth and a length of 175 mm round off the drivetrain.

The SHIMANO “HG200” cassette with 11–34 teeth and the KMC “Z99” chain ensure efficient power transfer. The CONWAY riser handlebars, with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, together with the CONWAY “Sport” grips, offer comfortable handling. The stem is also by CONWAY and measures 31.8 mm, whilst the headset consists of ZS44 / ZS56.

The RODI “Blackrock 23” rims are fitted with IMPAC “Smartpac” tyres in size 54-622, which feature reflective strips on both the front and rear for improved visibility. The front hub is a SHIMANO “DH3D37” QR dynamo hub and the rear hub is a SHIMANO “FH-TX505” QR hub. Black steel spokes complete the wheelset. The Conway “3378 light” saddle and the CONWAY patented seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, ensure riding comfort.

SKS “Velo 65 Mountain” mudguards are fitted to protect against dirt, and a Conway alloy kickstand (40 mm) provides practical parking options. Overall, the Conway MC 529 is a well-equipped bike that is suitable for both everyday use and longer rides.
