Conway MC 3.7

The Conway MC 3.7, released in 2024, is a sturdy aluminium hardtail bike that stands out for its well-thought-out specifications and excellent value for money. Priced at 699 EUR, it offers a wide range of features that may appeal to both beginners and experienced cyclists. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium and has a seat tube length of 41 cm. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 15 kg.

The MC 3.7’s braking system consists of TEKTRO “HD-M275” disc brakes, fitted with 160 mm brake discs at both the front and rear. Gear shifting is provided by a 21-speed SHIMANO “TX800” system, combined with SHIMANO “SL-M315” shift levers and a SHIMANO “Altus FD-M313” front derailleur. The SHIMANO “FC-TY301” crankset offers three chainrings with 24/34/42 teeth, whilst the SHIMANO “CS-HG200” cassette provides a 12–32-tooth range.

The RST “Gila” fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures comfortable suspension on uneven terrain. The lighting system consists of a HERRMANS “H-Black MR4” front light and a HERRMANS “H-Trace Mini” rear light with a parking light function, powered by a SHIMANO “DH3D37” hub dynamo.

Other features include Welgo “C280DU” pedals, CONWAY hollow-section rims, and IMPAC “Smartpac” tyres with reflective strips for improved visibility. The SELLE ROYAL “Vivo Athletic Ergo” saddle and the CONWAY Patent seatpost provide additional comfort. SKS “Velo 65 Mountain” mudguards and a Conway Alloy kickstand complete the package.

The bike’s geometry is designed for comfort and control, with a seat tube angle of 74 degrees, a head tube length of 120 mm and a wheelbase of 1068 mm. These features make the Conway MC 3.7 a versatile choice for everyday use and occasional off-road adventures.
