Conway Cairon S 327

The "Cairon S 327" model from Conway, released in 2021, is an e-bike renowned for its robust build and reliable performance. Priced at €2,699, this bike offers good value for money for anyone looking for a robust and versatile e-bike. The frame is made of aluminium and is specifically designed for the fourth-generation Bosch ‘Performance CX’ mid-drive motor, rated at 36 V and 250 W. The motor is powered by a Bosch lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, which provides sufficient range for longer rides. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 130 kg, making it suitable for heavier riders or extra luggage.

The Cairon S 327’s braking system consists of Shimano ‘BR-MT200’ brakes and ‘BL-MT200’ brake levers, which, in combination with the Shimano ‘SM-RT30’ front and rear brake discs (180 mm each) to ensure reliable braking performance. The gear system is based on a Shimano “Deore RD-M592” 9-speed derailleur, controlled via the Shimano “Altus SL-M2000” shift levers. The rims are Conway hollow-section “X17” for disc brakes, fitted with Impac “Ridgepac” tyres in size 57-584 on both the front and rear wheels. The hubs are Shimano “HB-TX505” QR at the front and “FH-TX505” QR at the rear, connected by stainless steel spokes.

The saddle is the Selle Royal “Vivo Athletic Ergo” model, mounted on a Conway patented seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The Bosch “Purion” display offers four assistance levels and a push-assist function, making the e-bike easy and intuitive to use.
