Conway Cairon C 729

The "Cairon C 729" model from Conway, launched in 2021, is a versatile e-bike available at a price of 3,999 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from robust aluminium, which has been specially developed to accommodate the Bosch Intube system. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, the Cairon C 729 provides a solid foundation for a variety of uses.

The bike’s braking system comprises SHIMANO “SLX BR-M7120” 4-piston brakes, which, in combination with the SHIMANO “SLX BL-M7100” brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance. The front brake disc has a diameter of 203 mm, whilst the rear disc measures 180 mm. The drivetrain is a SRAM “NX Eagle” 12-speed system, operated via a SRAM “SX Eagle Trigger” shifter. This enables precise and rapid gear changes.

The ROCKSHOX “35 Gold RL” fork, with 120 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. For lighting, the Cairon C 729 is fitted with a CONTEC “LED Aurora 100 E+ 40” front light and an AXA “Blueline” LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in low-light conditions.

The bike is powered by a fourth-generation BOSCH “Performance CX” mid-drive motor with an output of 250 W. The accompanying BOSCH PT lithium-ion battery offers a capacity of 625 Wh, guaranteeing sufficient range for longer rides. The BOSCH ‘Kiox’ display, with 4 levels and remote control, allows for easy control of the motor assistance and offers a push assist function.

Further features include the FSA “CK-745” crankset, the CONWAY “X17” hollow-wall rims and the SCHWALBE “Smart Sam” tyres, which are fitted in size 57-622 at both the front and rear. The handlebars are LEVEL 9 “Low Riser” with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, whilst the stem is also from LEVEL 9 and is adjustable.

The SELLE ROYAL “Vivo Athletic Ergo” saddle, together with the CONWAY Patent seatpost, ensures comfort on long rides. Plastic mudguards from SKS, an URSUS aluminium kickstand and an ATRAN “Cummute Pro” luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap round off the Cairon C 729’s specification, making it a practical companion for everyday use.
