Centurion No Pogo R4000i

The 2024 Centurion No Pogo R4000i is a high-performance e-mountain bike designed specifically for demanding riders looking for a robust and reliable companion. The frame is made from high-quality aluminium and is designed for 29-inch wheels. With a head tube that tapers from 1.5" to 1.8" and a 12x148mm dropout, the bike provides a solid foundation for stability and control. The post-mount brake mounts for 203mm disc brakes ensure optimum deceleration and safety.

The No Pogo R4000i has a maximum load capacity of 150 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 26 kg. The frame geometry is designed for riders between 184 cm and 202 cm tall, ensuring a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. The braking system features SHIMANO XTR brakes and brake levers, as well as SHIMANO RT-MT905 front and rear brake discs, each with a diameter of 203 mm in a 6-bolt design. These components ensure powerful and reliable braking performance in all conditions.

The bike’s gear system is based on SHIMANO Deore XT technology with a 1x11 drivetrain, which ensures smooth and precise gear changes thanks to the Linkglide mechanism. The shift lever is also from SHIMANO Deore XT and offers optimised ergonomics with I-Spec EV. Suspension is provided by a FOX 38 Factory eMTB+ fork with 160 mm of travel and a FOX Float X Factory shock with 155 mm of travel, ensuring excellent damping characteristics.

Lighting is provided by the LEZYNE Classic STVZO E500 front light in combination with the LEZYNE Femto STVZO rear light. The pedals are VP VPE-527, whilst the crankset is from the CENTURION R Pro II Gen4 series. The drivetrain is completed by a SHIMANO CN-LG500 chain. The handlebars are RACE FACE Next R35 with a width of 800 mm and a rise of 20 mm, complemented by PROCRAFT Sport Pro II grips and a PROCRAFT Trail Expert 35 AICR stem with a length of 50 mm.

The tyres consist of MAXXIS Assegai tyres at the front (29x2.5" WT) and MAXXIS Minion DHR II tyres at the rear (29x2.6"), mounted on a SUNringle Düroc SD37 PRO wheelset. The saddle is a Prologo Proxim W450 Performance model, supported by a FOX Transfer Factory seatpost. The e-bike is powered by a BOSCH Performance Line CX Race motor, fed by a BOSCH PowerTube battery with a capacity of 750 Wh. Control is via the BOSCH Kiox 300 display in combination with the BOSCH Mini Remote.

The frame geometry is well thought out, with a seat tube length of 500 mm, a reach of 505 mm and a stack of 651 mm. The head tube angle is 65 degrees, whilst the seat tube angle is 77 degrees. The chainstay length measures 460 mm and the standover height is 777 mm, which, combined with the 1303 mm wheelbase, ensures balanced handling.
