Bulls Copperhead FSX 2

The 2023 Copperhead FSX 2 from Bulls is a versatile and robust mountain bike that impresses with its high-quality components and well-thought-out design features. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, which has been processed using a double-butted technique and hydroforming. This not only ensures greater stability and durability, but also keeps the weight down. The internal cable routing, the use of a thru-axle and the ISCG 05 mount emphasise the bike’s modern and clean-cut look.

With a maximum load capacity of 125 kg, the Copperhead FSX 2 is suitable for a wide range of riders and offers high load-bearing capacity. The braking system utilises SHIMANO components: At the front, a SHIMANO BR-MT420 brake is fitted with a 203 mm Centre Lock brake disc, whilst at the rear a SHIMANO BR-MT410 brake is fitted with a 180 mm Centre Lock brake disc. This combination ensures reliable and powerful braking performance in every situation.

The gear system is based on the SHIMANO Deore RD-M6100 shadow+ rear derailleur, which, together with the SHIMANO Deore SL-M6100 rapidfire+ shifter and I-spec-EV integration, enables precise and fast gear changes. With a total of 12 gears, the bike offers a wide gear range, achieved through the SHIMANO Deore 12-speed cassette (10–51T) and the SHIMANO FC-MT511 crankset with 30 teeth.

The RockShox components ensure outstanding riding comfort and control: the RockShox Recon Silver RL fork offers 140 mm of travel, as does the RockShox Deluxe Select+ RT shock. These suspension components enable the bike to tackle even challenging trails with ease.

The spec is rounded off by BULLS MTB pedals, a BULLS Sport-SL double-butted riser bar, MTB Sport grips and an MTB-SL stem. The FSA No.57SC headset ensures precise steering. The RYDE Disc 30 rims are tubeless-ready and, in combination with the SCHWALBE Nobby Nic Super Race TLE tyres (62-622), offer optimum traction and puncture resistance.

The hubs – a SHIMANO HB-MT410-B at the front and a SHIMANO FH-MT410-B at the rear – are also designed for Centre Lock and contribute to the bike’s overall stability. The BULLS Sportive Ergo saddle and the LIMOTEC Alpha 1 seatpost (available in different lengths depending on frame size) round off the package and ensure comfort even on longer rides.
