The Bulls Copperhead 3 is the entry-level MTB hardtail from Bulls for universal everyday use. This is ensured by the Monkey Link mounts included in the scope of delivery, to which accessories such as lights or a smartphone can be attached. The Copperhead 3 can also accommodate a kickstand or child trailer. At 1199 euros, the Bulls is also one of the cheaper hardtails in the comparison. The Copperhead 3S, which we have regularly tested in recent years, is a little more sporty. However, the Shimano XT bike costs 1699 euros, and the bike was not available for the current comparison. We therefore had to fall back on the Copperhead 3, which, despite its favourable price, settled in the midfield of the test in terms of weight.
Despite its favourable price, the versatile Copperhead 3 is definitely worth a look. Due to the equipment and details, it can only score points off-road to a limited extent and is aimed more at the everyday cyclist than at ambitious athletes.

Why not free of charge? Because quality journalism has a price. In return, we guarantee independence and objectivity. This applies in particular to the tests in BIKE. We don't pay for them, but the opposite is the case: we charge for them, namely tens of thousands of euros every year.
