Bulls Copperhead 1 29

The "Copperhead 1 29" model from the "Bulls" brand, released in 2023, is a versatile mountain bike available at a price of 999 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and features internal cable routing, which ensures a tidy appearance and provides additional protection for the cables. The maximum load capacity is 125 kg, offering sufficient stability and safety.

The Copperhead 1 29’s braking system comprises TEKTRO HD-M275 brakes at the front and TEKTRO HD-R280 brakes at the rear, both fitted with 180 mm 6-bolt brake discs, which ensure reliable braking performance. The bike is fitted with the SHIMANO Deore RD-M5120 shadow+ rear derailleur, which, together with the SHIMANO Deore SL-M4100 shift levers, enables precise and smooth gear changes. A total of 10 gears are available, suitable for a variety of terrain types.

The SR SUNTOUR XCM HLO fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by MonkeyLink Recharge front and rear lights, although these are not included in the scope of delivery. The BULLS MTB pedals offer a secure grip and control whilst riding.

The Copperhead 1 29’s drivetrain comprises the SHIMANO Deore FC-M5100 crankset with 32 teeth, a SHIMANO Deore 10-speed cassette with a gear ratio of 11–46T, and the SHIMANO CN-HG54-10 chain. This ensures efficient power transfer and a wide range of gear ratios.

The handlebars are STYX riser bars, complemented by BULLS MTB grips, which ensure comfort and control. The stem is an MTB-S model, which is CCS Slot Mount-ready, offering additional adjustment options. The headset is an FSA No.57B-1, ensuring precise steering.

The rims are DDM-2 models, fitted with SUPERO Edge anti-puncture tyres in size 57-622, ensuring a robust and puncture-proof ride. The hubs feature a 6-hole design and quick-release mechanisms, making wheel changes easier.

The saddle is a BULLS Sportive Ergo model, which, together with the STYX aluminium seatpost, ensures comfort even on longer rides. Overall, the Copperhead 1 29 offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and reliability, ideal for a variety of mountain biking applications.
