Bergamont Revox 24 Lite white

The “Revox 24 Lite white” model from Bergamont, released in 2024, is a versatile children’s bike that stands out for its high-quality features and light weight. The frame is made from a lightweight AL-6061 tube set and is 24 inches in size. The bike’s total weight is just 10 kg, making it particularly easy to handle and manoeuvre. The maximum load capacity is 65 kg.

Safety is ensured by the Tektro MD-M280 mechanical disc brakes, fitted at both the front and rear. The brake levers are made of aluminium and feature an adjustable reach, allowing for personalised adjustment. The brake discs have a diameter of 160 mm, ensuring reliable braking performance.

The bike is fitted with a Shimano RD-TX800 derailleur, which features eight gears. Gear changes are operated via Shimano SL-RS45 twist shifters, which allow for simple and intuitive operation. The fork is a BGM rigid aluminium fork with disc brake mounts, which provides additional stability.

Other features include Marwi SP-700 pedals and a sealed cartridge bottom bracket with a BSA thread. The Prowheel crankset has 32 teeth and a length of 140 mm, whilst the Sunrace CS-M55 cassette, with a range of 11–34 teeth, provides a wide gear ratio. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z8 chain.

The handlebars are BGM Comp riser bars, 560 mm wide, complemented by BGM Kids grips and a BGM Comp stem with a Syncros stem protector. The headset is a semi-integrated A-Headset, model BGM FP-H807.

The rims are Alex C-1000 Disc rims, fitted with Kenda Booster tyres in size 24x2.40". Both hubs are from BGM Comp and feature a 6-hole disc mount as well as quick-release mechanisms.

The saddle is a Syncros Future Pro and the seatpost is also from BGM Comp. A BGM aluminium kickstand completes the specification. When packed, the bike measures 21 mm in width, 67 mm in height and 123 mm in length, with a gross weight of 14,480 g.

The Bergamont Revox 24 Lite white is available for €499 and offers a well-thought-out combination of lightness, stability and safety, making it an excellent choice for young cyclists.
