Bavarian manufacturer Cube is revising many of its models for 2025. Among the e-touring bikes, the Kathmandu Hybrid touring pedelec is getting an update with innovative components.

The Cube Kathmandu was already available as a non-motorised version a classic in the touring and travel bike category. With the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid SLT e-bike model, the touring bike has now been raised to a new level.

The electronically controlled XX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain from Sram shifts precisely from gear to gear and delivers the power of the Bosch Performance Line CX motor via the Newmen Beskar 30 wheels with Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency tyres, the bike is perfectly geared to the ground. The bike owes its enormously long range to the powerful PowerTube battery. Hydraulic Magura Gustav Pro Disc brakes enable controlled braking manoeuvres even in adverse weather conditions. The Fox suspension fork, adjustable stem and retractable seat post also ensure a comfortable ride.

The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid SLT touring pedelec is completed by the new X-Connect light integration system for e-bikes, consisting of a front headlight and integrated rear light. This system makes it easy to connect a compatible Acid front light via a pre-installed cable in the frame. Operation is simple: switch on the appropriate Acid light and set off.

A 100 mm suspension fork supports the comfort geometry of the frame and facilitates control even under difficult road conditions. The internal cable routing gives the chassis a clean look and significantly reduces maintenance requirements. What else? A versatile, almost indestructible universal derailleur hanger for easy availability of spare parts, an integrated chain guard and a stable, robust, extremely attractive integrated IC 3.0 pannier rack, which has room for everything you need to take on tour. Not forgetting the kickstand and Knog bell.

For lovers of lightweight e-bikes, the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 with Bosch SX motor also remain in the range.
