BH Bikes is launching the Atom+ NX, a new e-bike series designed to combine urban mobility with lightweight off-road capabilities. The third member of the NX family after iLynx+ NX and iGravelX NX is aimed at commuters and touring cyclists. The Spanish developers have focussed on complete cable integration in the frame and a lowered top tube for easy mounting and dismounting. The battery in the down tube, which can be removed from above, is designed to simplify everyday handling.

BH Atom+ NX comes with Bosch Performance PX

The drive system of the BH Atom+ NX is based on the Bosch Performance Line PX, which was specially developed for city and SUV e-bikes. The motor delivers up to 90 Nm of torque with a maximum of 400% pedal assistance. An acceleration sensor measures the pedalling force and adjusts the motor power accordingly. According to the manufacturer, the system reacts in real time to changes in pedalling force, which is why BH promises a natural riding experience even on steep climbs and technical passages. The compact design should also improve weight distribution and handling.

600 Wh battery for a range of up to 145 km

The optimised frame design with adapted tube cross-sections enables the integration of a 600 Wh battery. BH states the maximum range as 145 km and cites longer commuting distances or extended tours as examples of use with one battery charge. The Automatic Care System controls energy consumption and is designed to extend the system's service life. The battery can be removed from the top without tools. The manufacturer does not specify the charging time or the weight of the energy storage unit.

Kiox 300 vs. Intuvia 100

The Diamond variants use the Bosch Kiox 300 display with extended performance data, Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation via the eBike Flow app. The other models are equipped with the high-contrast Bosch Intuvia 100 display. Both systems support wireless updates and, according to BH, remain easy to read even in direct sunlight. The eBike Flow app expands the functions of the Diamond models with navigation aids and detailed ride data analyses.

BH Atom+ NX: Four variants with Gates belt

The Atom+ NX series comprises four variants: Jet and Wave for sporty orientated riders, Diamond and Diamond Wave for urban comfort. The Diamond models combine Shimano Nexus hub gears with a Gates belt drive. This combination reduces maintenance requirements and ensures clean, quiet running. All variants share the Bosch system, the 600 Wh battery and full cable integration. A 100 mm suspension fork increases riding comfort on uneven terrain.

Extensive equipment ex works

Every Atom+ NX leaves the factory with extensive equipment: mudguards, pannier rack, front and rear lights, kickstand and Abus lock are included. The bikes should be ready for immediate use without any retrofitting.
