The Heidelberg-based e-bike specialist Coboc is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a special limited edition of the Merano. The XV edition impresses with its elegant details while remaining true to the lightweight and purist Coboc DNA.

To mark their milestone birthday, the Heidelberg-based company has honoured itself with a timeless edition of the lightweight Merano e-bike as a gift. The Merano XV comes in two frame shapes (diamond and trapeze) and two exclusive colour concepts: the diamond frame comes in green, while the trapeze frame shines in rosé.

What immediately catches the eye are the beautiful details. Coboc has given the Limited Edition silver-coloured components that harmonise with the hand-stitched, brown Velo leather grips and the matching leather saddle. The slim Curana mudguards, the Coboc Urban handlebars and the exclusive "15 years" Coboc bell emphasise the premium claim. Even the Supernova Mini 2 front light is finished in shiny silver.

Lightweight with power

At just 15.6 kilograms (manufacturer's specification), the Merano XV remains true to its philosophy as one of the lightest urban e-bikes on the market. The anniversary model is powered by the in-house Coboc Electric Drive CBC02 in the rear wheel, which draws up to 500 watts of peak power from 360 Wh battery capacity. The specified range is between 70 and 100 kilometres, with a charging time of just 2.5 hours.

Versatile all-rounder

The equipment shows that Coboc is positioning the Merano XV as a real all-rounder. The carbon fork and the wide WTB Byway 650B tyres (47-584) ensure comfort even off the beaten track. With a permissible total weight of 140 kilograms and the Coboc bag holder, the bike is equally suitable for daily commutes and short weekend excursions. The pannier rack integrated inconspicuously on the mudguard can carry up to

The limited edition is available in sizes S (158-170 cm), M (168-180 cm), L (178-190 cm) and XL exclusively for the diamond frame (188-200 cm). The price is 4799 euros.
