Sweet Protection unveils Hyper Violet, a new special edition for this summer. The eye-catching colour collection is aimed at both male and female bikers: From XC to trail to gravel and road bikes. Sweet Protection thus covers a broad spectrum of bike disciplines. The four helmet models from Sweet Protection are:
The Hyper Violet Fade variant from Sweet Protection transitions seamlessly from a deep violet to a strong turquoise blue. This colour gradient is intended to represent speed and movement. The Black Hyper Violet version of the bike helmets, on the other hand, is a simpler implementation of the new colour.
Sweet Protection writes in the product presentation that the colour scheme is inspired by the intensity of nature and the adrenaline of sport. We believe that this is also an apparently modern homage to the garish colour combinations of the 80s and 90s.
Regardless of the look: all helmets in the Hyper Violet collection stand for maximum protection, comfort and performance and are designed to combine the highest safety standards with an eye-catching design.
A highlight of the collection is probably the Strayer 2Vi Mips MTB helmet from Sweet Protection. This lightweight, well-ventilated full-face helmet has been developed for progressive riders who tackle the toughest trails.
The Bushwhacker 2Vi Mips helmet was specially designed for demanding off-road conditions but without the protection of a full-face helmet. This robust mountain bike helmet is designed to offer improved impact protection and increased safety.
The Sweet Protection Primer Mips helmet is even lighter and has a smaller visor. It is ideal for riders who are looking for both performance and comfort on varied routes.
Sweet Protection has the Falconer (Aero) 2Vi Mips helmet in its range for road and gravel bikes. The name is inspired by one of nature's fastest predators (falcons) and has all the attributes for speed, lightness and comfort.
All helmets in the Sweet Protection collection are equipped with the Mips system (Multi-directional Impact Protection System). This is designed to reduce the rotational forces acting on the brain in the event of an impact. The helmets also have special ventilation systems to ensure optimum air circulation.
Sweet Protection emphasises that special emphasis was placed on the fit when developing the Hyper Violet collection. The helmets should be characterised by an ergonomic shape that adapts to different head shapes. Adjustment systems allow individual customisation to ensure maximum comfort even during long tours or intensive racing.
The Hyper Violet collection from Sweet Protection will be available from specialist retailers and via the manufacturer's online shop from summer 2025. Exact prices, dimensions and weights for the individual models have not yet been communicated.
