The Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Race (here in the BIKE test) makes long tours a pleasure. You get high-quality Fox suspension, Shimano XT gears and brakes and a fairly complete Bosch package with CX drive, removable 750 Wh battery and Kiox 300 display. Touring bikers should also be attracted by the soft, comfort-orientated Fox suspension and the relaxed, somewhat compact riding position - making long tours comfortable. The range is also very good.

Conclusion from Josh Welz, EMTB editor-in-chief

"With the Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC, Cube presents a versatile all-mountain bike with a strong range. Thanks to its sensitive, forgiving suspension and moderate geometry, it delivers a lot of comfort and is therefore very suitable for long tours. The good-natured character and strong chassis help less experienced riders in demanding off-road situations. However, the Cube is quite heavy, and sporty riders might miss some liveliness on the trails."

The Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Race 750 is currently available at XXL bike on offer for 4309 euros instead of 4799 euros.

How do you like this article?

The Trek Fuel EXe (here in the BIKE test) should be as close as possible to a non-motorised bike in terms of looks and handling. The new Light E-MTB from Trek presents itself as a racy trail bike. It wants to be actively manoeuvred through the terrain, then it rewards the rider with lively, direct handling and top precision. The successful geometry with a very low front makes the bike a real cornering pro, which can also be easily pulled onto the rear wheel and lifted into the air on jumps.

Conclusion from BIKE editor Max Fuchs

"The Trek Fuel EXe is a racy trail bike for experienced riders who are looking for an E-MTB that is as natural and unobtrusive as possible. It's also record-breakingly quiet! A wolf in sheep's clothing, but not for comfort-orientated bikers or fans of real e-bike power."

With its high front end and slack head angle (64.5 degrees), the Cube Stereo One55 C:62 TM 29 (here in the BIKE test) This ensures a high level of safety even on demanding passages. The Rockshox suspension provides a lot of comfort, which is easy on the rider even on long descents. The key data of the Cube Stereo ONE55 therefore promises great riding fun. With the additional chain guide and bashguard, the Cube is even suitable for enduro use. Despite its impressively smooth ride, the Stereo is easy on the rear wheel thanks to its relatively short rear end and skilfully negotiates tight bends.

Conclusion from BIKE editor Max Fuchs

"The One55 manages to combine a lot of suspension travel with a reasonable weight. With its modern geometry and very high-quality equipment, the All Mountain from Cube is a downhill all-rounder."

The Cube Stereo One55 C:62 TM 29 is currently available at Liquid Life for 4824 euros instead of 5499 euros.

Rockrider Race 900 S GX

The Rockrider Race 900 S (here in the BIKE test) shows its strengths in uphill climbing. Very positive: the front hardly tends to climb at all. Long chainstays and the long stem distribute the weight very favourably. With the familiar Sram gearing with a 32 chainring and 52 sprocket at the rear, you can get up almost any climb. This is also ensured by the Kraken tyres, which offer plenty of grip. Downhill, it forgives small mistakes and gives you the feeling that the two of us can do it together!

Conclusion from BIKE editor Marc Strucken

"The Rockrider is a good choice for beginners who are really serious or don't want to put too much strain on their bank account. The result of our endurance test: price and performance are very well balanced. The Race 900 S is not just a cosy touring bike - but nobody would have seriously thought that with the name."

The Rockrider Race 900 S GX is available at Decathlon currently on offer for 2499 euros.

Cube Stereo One44 C:62 Pro

The slim carbon frame keeps the weight of the Cube Stereo One44 C:62 Pro (here in the BIKE test) under 13 kilos. Nevertheless, there is no lack of high-quality details, such as a storage compartment in the down tube and a tool mount on the top tube. The geometry can even be fine-tuned using a flip chip. The Cube rolls refreshingly easily. In addition to the low weight, this is due to the low rolling resistance of the narrow Maxxis Foreskaster tyres. The cosy, upright riding position and the only slightly bobbing suspension also make the One44 ideal as a touring bike.

Conclusion from BIKE editor Jan Timmermann

"For touring fans, the Cube Stereo One44 is a good deal. It's wonderfully light, beautifully manoeuvrable and moves quickly."

The Cube Stereo One44 C:62 Pro is currently available at Liquid Life 2650 euros instead of 3299 euros.
