With a 66.5 degree head angle and 75 degree seat angle, the Wilier Urta Hybrid is worthy of a downcountry bike. In combination with the Fazua Ride 60 motor and the 430 watt-hour battery, it is therefore ideally equipped for shallow trails. Nice to know: The new Fazua Ride 60 motor, with a torque of 60 Newton metres, won the test in the last EMTB comparison test of the minimal assist motors. If you want to go on longer tours, you can tune the battery to an impressive 640 watt hours with a range extender. The additional battery is attached to the down tube outside the frame triangle. This means there is still room for a water bottle inside the frame triangle.
The Urta Hybrid is not only visually similar to the motor-free Wilier Urta SLR. The engineers also adopted some technical features. The rear triangle, for example, bears a strong resemblance to the XC race bike. And rightly so, as Simone Avondetto became U23 XCO World Champion on an Urta SLR this year. The rest of the frame is also very similar to that of the non-motorised race bike - just with a thicker down tube and LED display on the top tube.
Noble: The Wilier Urta Hybrid is available with a carbon monocoque cockpit. This is said to save an impressive 150 grams compared to a conventional handlebar and stem. The handlebar/stem unit is available in three different lengths: 60 millimetres, 75 millimetres and 90 millimetres.
The Wilier Urta Hybrid is available in four versions. Prices start at 7,000 euros and end at an impressive 12,500 euros for the top version. For this you get a bike weighing just 16 kilograms with the finest Rockshox and Sram parts. Without cables, of course. The brakes are again fitted with Shimano XTR series stoppers.
