There was a time when the Propain Yuma was one of the few high-quality children's fullys on the market. Nowadays, the selection is bigger and more colourful than in any candy shop, but Propain still knows how to inspire mountain bike enthusiasts and families. For the start of the new season, the mail-order company from Lake Constance is presenting two independent versions of the new Yuma 4. A version with 24-inch wheels is intended to be the perfect toy for young MTB beginners, while with 26-inch wheels, the bike has what it takes to be an action-mobile for teenagers.

Customised children's mountain bikes

Until now, the Propain Yuma was only available in one version. It could be converted from 24 to 26 inches using a conversion kit. The German bike label is moving away from this concept and wants to offer two customised solutions for tall and short children in 2025. The basis for this are two independent frame designs made from the Blend-Alloy light alloy known from other Propain bikes. An uncomplicated single-pivot rear suspension provides 130 millimetres of travel on the 24-inch Yuma and 140 millimetres on the 26-inch version. At 65 and 65.5 degrees respectively, the steering angle is flat for downhill riding.

According to Propain, splitting the Yuma range into two individual bikes has the advantage of being able to offer every young rider a suitable bike according to their riding ability and stage of development. Children and young people benefit from a bike that is perfectly tailored to them through stability, control, safety and ultimately self-confidence. In the Propain line-up of children's bikes, the Yuma 4 24 and Yuma 4 26 are the link between beginners and young shredders. From the Bam Bam wheel from the Barney, Dreckspatz and Frechdax hardtails to the Enduro and freeride models Tyee YTH and Spindrift YTH Propain now has a comprehensive range of mountain bikes for all ages.

Details that children and parents will love

The fact that Propain has years of experience in the development of children's mountain bikes can of course also be seen in the new Yuma bikes. At the contact points, such as grips and pedals, the choice of components is based on the respective needs of children and young people. Parents can look forward to sustainable standards, such as a UDH derailleur hanger and a threaded BSA bottom bracket, as well as generous frame protection. Small items such as snacks or the front door keys can be stored in a special frame bag. This means that the youngsters always have all their essentials with them.

From the air suspension forks to the grippy tyres and powerful brakes, nothing should be missing for real mountain bike fun.
