Canyon renews its Grand Canyon hardtail mountain bike and presents a completely revised version of the popular all-rounder. According to the manufacturer, the new model is more versatile, lighter and more efficient than its predecessor. The aluminium frame has been fundamentally revised and should weigh less than 2 kilograms in size M. Canyon offers the Grand Canyon in seven frame sizes, from 3XS to XL. In addition to the hardtails for adults, there are also two models for children and teenagers in 24 and 27.5 inch sizes.

One major innovation is the increase in suspension travel to 120 millimetres on the fork. This should give the Grand Canyon more reserves and comfort off-road. All models are equipped with hydraulic disc brakes with a brake disc size of 180 millimetres at the front. Canyon states that the total weight starts at 11.5 kilograms, depending on the model.
According to Canyon, the aluminium frame of the Grand Canyon has been completely redesigned. The top tube now drops lower, which, in combination with the longer dropper seatposts on the higher-end models, should allow more freedom of movement. The geometry has been revised to offer more safety and control.
