Both new Centurion models, Lhasa and Numinis, come with a new frame, powerful fifth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX motors, 800 Wh battery, more suspension travel and many clever details. Thanks to high-quality EQ equipment (standard on the Lhasa, optional on the Numinis), both e-MTBs should also feel right at home in SUV use. Centurion aims to combine its high quality standards, technical innovation and unrivalled riding pleasure in these all-rounders for touring, trail and everyday use.
The Centurion Numinis R2000 offers more suspension travel and is more versatile than ever. Equipped with the latest generation of the Bosch Performance Line CX drive and an 800 Wh battery, the all-rounder should be perfect for touring and trail use. With 150 mm suspension travel at the front and 140 mm at the rear, the Numinis should guarantee maximum comfort and precise control on any terrain. Whether for beginners or experienced mountain bikers: "This multi-faceted E-MTB combines outstanding riding characteristics with innovative technology and masters even the most demanding tours and trails," says the company headquarters. "In the Numinis, we combine our high quality standards, technical innovation and unrivalled riding pleasure."
The Numinis aims to impress with a first-class combination of downhill performance, comfort, innovative technology and fascinating design. The taut lines with a horizontal suspension strut give the bike a modern, dynamic silhouette. A positive side effect: a low standover height. Cable routing integrated all the way to the rear not only offers protection against dirt and damage, it also contributes to a tidy appearance.
The further developed, broadly supported rear triangle is designed to improve riding performance and comfort. The Numinis aims to set new standards in terms of frame stiffness and durability. The use of double-row ball bearings minimises wear and extends the service life. The Horstlink rear suspension with progressive kinematics is designed to ensure sensitive and controlled handling on trails.
"Through the use of detailed, computer-aided analyses, the FEM-optimised frame of the Numinis offers outstanding rigidity and stability," promises the manufacturer. This technology minimises the overall weight and improves the durability and performance of the frame. The manufacturer underpins this quality claim with a lifetime guarantee on the frame, which is approved for a generous total weight of 150 kg.
With the Lhasa all-terrain e-bike, Centurion aims to appeal to a broad target group - from commuters and everyday cyclists to touring cyclists. Equipped with the new, powerful Bosch Performance Line CX drive and an 800 Wh battery, the Lhasa offers powerful propulsion and endurance for every tour. With the optional PowerMore additional battery, it becomes a real kilometre eater. Thanks to the high-quality EQ full equipment, the Lhasa is equipped for any weather conditions and any luggage requirements. The suspension with 120 mm travel at the front and rear aims to offer maximum comfort and precise control on any terrain. The rear triangle design and frame construction correspond in principle to the Numinis.
To protect the Lhasa's chainstays from chain slaps and scratches even in rough conditions, the bike has been equipped with Centurion's 3rd generation Silent Protection technology. This damping system with continuous air chambers protects against bumps and impacts, reduces noise and guarantees durability. As a result, the Lhasa should remain whisper-quiet even during intensive use and demanding missions.
The Lhasa comes in series with a high-quality EQ full equipment for everyday use and extensive bike tours. A special highlight is the Racktime SNAPIT 2.0 Deluxe pannier rack, which blends in beautifully with the overall design of the bike. The integrated Halo rear light ensures optimum visibility in poor light conditions. Robust mudguards, a kickstand and a high-quality front light round off the EQ package on the Lhasa.
The latest generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor is renowned for its performance, efficiency and dynamics. With a maximum torque of 85 Nm and up to 600 watts of peak power, the power pack provides extremely potent support on demanding tours. Thanks to reduced noise development and a weight of just 2.8 kg, the drive provides discreet support. The motor is powered by the Bosch PowerTube battery with 800 Wh, which enables longer and more efficient rides thanks to its improved energy density and compact design. The striking motor cover with air intakes provides cooling and also protects the unit from stone chips and dirt. Clever detail: The charging flap can be retracted into the seat tube during charging or when connecting an optional PowerMore additional battery. It also closes magnetically and protects the charging socket from splash water and dirt.
Thanks to the minimalist system controller in the top tube, all essential information such as riding mode or charge status is always in view. With simple two-button operation and Bluetooth connectivity to the eBike Flow app, it forms the control centre of the Lhasa. The Mini Remote, which is mounted directly on the handlebars and expands the range of functions of the Smart System, enables even more convenient operation of the System Controller. In combination with the Mini Remote, for example, a smartphone can also be used as a display and the smart pushing aid can be utilised.
