With no less than three new mountain bike models and a new e-bike launches industry giant Cube Bikes is entering the 2023 season and is renovating its fully range from trail to enduro. Visually, all new Cube Stereo ONE MTB models bear the same signature and are based on lightweight carbon frames with four-link kinematics. Only the new Cube Enduro ONE77 is still available in two aluminium versions. The latest generation completely dispenses with the top tube, which is split in two towards the seat tube, as is the case with the current Stereo ONE22. Instead, the designations 44, 55 and 77 are a logical addition to the model range, even if the exact suspension travel cannot be deduced from this.
Here you can find detailed Presentation of the other new Cube Stereo bikes for 2023:
With 140 millimetres of travel at the fork and 140 millimetres at the rear, the new Cube Stereo ONE44 follows in the same footsteps as the Stereo 140. The ONE44 therefore lies between the trail bike class and the all-mountain category and, with its lightweight equipment, is aimed at propulsion-orientated single trail enthusiasts. For mountain bikers who are more focussed on downhill, the new Stereo ONE55 offers a better starting point. The absolute novelty in the Cube Stereo ONE44 range is the change from 27.5 inch to 29 inch wheels. Only the entry-level model ONE44 Pro for 3299 euros still comes in the smallest frame size XS with 27.5-inch wheels. From 2023, all other models will roll over the trails exclusively on large wheels.
Both the Stereo ONE44 and the ONE55 are available in four equipment variants. The two most expensive Stereo ONE44 models come with another absolute novelty: Cube's own handlebar/stem unit, which is made of carbon, is designed to weigh very little and blends in beautifully with the overall appearance of the trail bike. All cables and lines are routed into the frame via the headset. The top model Cube Stereo ONE44 C:68X SLT is said to weigh just 12.2 kilos - a first-class weight for a trail bike costing 6999 euros. Another new feature of the Cube Stereo ONE44 carbon frame is the storage compartment integrated into the down tube. The down tube is now accessible via a flap under the bottle cage and offers space for spare parts and tools. A newly developed mini-tool with 24 functions is already integrated into the two top models.
The entry-level Stereo ONE44 C:62 Pro model for 3299 euros already has a mechanical Sram GX drivetrain, Rockshox Select+ suspension and Magura disc brakes. The Stereo ONE44 C:62 Race for 3999 euros already comes with Fox Factory suspension, Shimano XT gears and brakes and Newmen wheels. If you prefer an electronic drivetrain, the SLX model for 5399 euros (Sram GX AXS) and the top SLT model (Sram XX1 AXS) are the perfect choice.
