Allebikes is a Swedish mountain bike manufacturer based about an hour away from Gothenburg and therefore from Polestar. The result of the collaboration between the bike and car forge is now available as a limited special edition with the name Allebike Alpha Polestar Edition. A real eye-catcher. It looks like the next car manufacturer to get a taste of the bike business or completely - as Porsche did recently.
Even though the bike was co-developed by an e-car manufacturer, it does not require a motor. Nevertheless, they have one thing in common: a focus on the essentials. The no-frills frame with internally routed cables has the same look and feel as the cars: simple and elegant. It's not just the frame that comes from Sweden. The suspension is also built by Swedish manufacturer Öhlins. With 120 millimetre spring travel in the rear and 130 in the front the Allebike Alpha Polestar Edition joins the ranks of down-country bikes. Wireless: The standard Sram Reverb AXS Vario support, which does away with the need for a cable thanks to the use of wireless technology. You have the choice between Shimanos XTR drive and the radio circuit Sram XX1 AXS. This ensures an even cleaner look.
The Polestar special edition of the Allebike Alpha is available in the two matt metallic colours Snow and Space (matt black). Matching the colour of the cars, the suspension specialists from Öhlins supply a RXF34 m.2 fork and a TTX1R damper in Swedish gold. Unique! The same colour combination as the cars.
With a slack 65° head angle, a moderate reach of 466 millimetres and 438 millimetre chainstays, the Allebike Alpha is designed to offer downhill safety. The 75 degree steep seat angle helps when climbing, as does the weight of 11.5 kilogrammes (manufacturer's specification).
The Allebike Alpha bike, limited to 100 units, is available in the Polestar Edition in the online shops of both manufacturers. Cost: from 9500 Euro. According to Polestar, the Allebikes Alpha Polestar Edition is only available in size M/L offered. Further information at www.polestar.com or www.allebike-sports.com.
