The Bike Republic Sölden rings in its tenth season today. To kick things off, mountain bikers can look forward to a long weekend with the Sölden Summer Kickstart from 6 to 9 June.
The programme includes riding technique courses, community ride outs and workshops. Guests with the Summer Kickstart Package benefit from additional advantages such as discounts on bike tickets, a sunrise ride with mountain breakfast, a brewery tour including free beer and a guided hike to Söldenkogl. The start of the season therefore offers the perfect opportunity to get back on the trails of the Bike Republic after the winter break and meet the bike community at the same time.
The Bike Republic Sölden (BRS) celebrates its actual anniversary from 19 to 22 June 2025 with the big BRS Birthday Party. For four days, mountain bike action, music, culinary delights and the typical Republic spirit will merge into a very special festival. An extensive expo area with test products, spectacular bike flip shows and action-packed contests such as the Bunny Hööp, the Bike Limbo or the Bike Obstacle Duel provide entertainment. Daily riding technique courses for all levels and age groups as well as the popular Ride Outs with BRS Flowmaster Korbi Engstler round off the programme. The centrepiece of the festivities is the BRS Rallye, in which teams ride from over 3,000 vertical metres across the Republic and have to prove not only their riding skills, but also their tactics and team spirit.
The Bike Republic Sölden also has some new features to offer for 2025 in terms of trails. In the newly created Dirt District, a 13,000 square metre slopestyle area, experienced riders can now take off themselves. The area, which provided international action during the Swatch Nines 2024, is available to bikers with the appropriate skills. Use is at your own risk, with the large freeride line currently only open for registered training sessions and shoots. The Bartigs Bödele Line has a new look in 2025 and now runs a few metres below the original route. This means that the original route can once again be used as a hiking trail - a sign of respect for different user groups in alpine terrain.
The Bike Republic Sölden is also planning further route expansions for the coming years. The long-awaited jumpline in the Teäre Line area is taking shape. The first section is due to be completed for the 2026 season, with a second to follow in 2027. The difficulty spectrum of the new route ranges from dark blue to light red, so that both ambitious and advanced riders will get their money's worth. These expansions underline the Bike Republic's endeavours to continuously expand its offering and make it attractive for different rider levels.
Another highlight awaits the bike community in autumn with the premiere of the Bike Republic Sölden Festival from 12 to 14 September 2025. The BRS FESTIVAL X SWATCH NINES brings the world elite of gravity sports to Sölden. Top riders such as Erik Fedko, Nicholi Rogatkin, Bienvenido Alba and Robin Goomes show off their skills and push themselves to new trick dimensions. The Public Night Shoot promises to be a highlight, lighting up the night sky over the Dirt District. In addition to the sporting competitions, visitors can look forward to an extensive supporting programme with contests, ride outs, a brand & expo area, live music and the legendary Riders Party at the Giggijoch valley station.
The crowning finale of the bike season in Sölden is traditionally the BRS bank holidays on the last bike weekend. From 3 to 5 October, bikers can look forward to tried and tested programme items such as ride outs, riding technique courses and contests. A special highlight is the Sölder Radl Parade, where everything with wheels takes centre stage - from unicycles to enduro bikes. Workshops in the Kids Bike Area, a citizens' assembly and spectacular shows round off the programme. The bank holidays once again brings everything that makes the Bike Republic special to the trails: flow, variety and plenty of passion for the sport of mountain biking.
