With the Turbo Levo 4 X, Specialized has just presented a very special e-bike. With patented pannier racks, the e-MTB mutates into an all-terrain cargo bike. However, as a complete bike, the vehicle costs a whopping 14,499 euros. However, the special pannier rack is also available as an accessory, suitable for all fourth-generation Levos. The idea behind it: With the racks, the Levo should become the ultimate versatile bike. For all those who are looking for a single bike for all usage scenarios: Trails, everyday life, commuting, bikepacking and load transport.
The racks should be designed in such a way that they have as little influence as possible on the bike's riding dynamics. The chassis quality should also remain as good as possible thanks to the stiff and well thought-out design. Because even in bikepacking mode, the Levo should be a sporty E-MTB that impresses with its trail skills. The front carrier is attached directly to the steerer tube of the fork using two special spacers. The rear carrier sits on the main attachment of the bellcrank and is also supported on the seatpost.
The front rack can hold up to 10 kilos, and up to 12 kilos at the rear. The rack is also MIK-compatible, meaning it is prepared for the quick and easy attachment of various bags.
The carriers are compatible with all Levo 4 and Levo 4 R models. The only exception is the Levo R in the largest size S6, on which the rear rack does not fit. The front rack costs 199 euros, while the rear rack costs 399 euros. The parts should be available in the course of summer 2026.
