The Lezyne Digital Shock Drive is a real dwarf and weighs just 110 grams. The slim pump body is completely CNC-milled and partly anodised in chic gold. The 4 cm long digital display with battery compartment and start/reset button is located on the cylinder of the shock pump. The pump head can be unscrewed from the small, knobbly handle for transport.

The 19 cm long flex hose can be moved 360 degrees and has a compact shrader valve head at the end. The measuring range of the Lezyne pump extends to 350 and the tiny drain button is somewhat hidden at the front end of the pump.
The slim Lezyne shock pump is an absolute eye-catcher both visually and haptically. The workmanship is very high quality. However, handling is a little awkward. The cuddly valve head does not sit comfortably in the hand when screwing it on and off. It is also very short, which makes it difficult to fit on deep-seated valves. It is difficult to find a suitable grip position on the small, knobbly handle. At the front end, you quickly reach for the exposed drain button. The manual forces are quite high even at lower pressures. At over 150 psi, pumping becomes uncomfortable. The upright manometer takes some getting used to, but is actually very easy to read.
The measurements at 80 psi are absolutely within the green range. The easy-to-read digital pressure gauge only deviates by tenths of a psi. At 150 psi, the display is off by an average of 3 psi - absolutely acceptable. The pressure release valve of the shock pump can be finely adjusted. Even without decoupling, no pressure escapes when the pump is unscrewed.

The Lezyne is a really tiny device, made entirely of CNC and correspondingly light - perfect for use on the move. Its vertical display takes a little getting used to, but works very precisely, even at higher pressures. Top: long hose and finely adjustable release valve, which is, however, somewhat exposed at the end of the pump. The Lezyne is the only digital pump in the test that reaches up to 350 psi. With its knobbly handle, however, pumping becomes very difficult even at 150 psi. The short valve head without decoupling is not ideal for handling.
In our large comparison, we tested a total of 13 shock pumps. Want to know how the other models fared? Click here to test the 3min19sec damper pump.
