Eurobike is in the midst of an identity crisis. It has now unveiled its vision for the future. A new date, three B2B days, bookable meeting rooms and new networking formats are set to restore it to its status as the leading trade fair.
The 35th Eurobike will take place from 30 June to 2 July 2027 at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition centre. The organisers have changed the dates in response to feedback from the cycling and ecomobility sectors. Following Eurobike 2026, Fairnamic held discussions with exhibitors, trade visitors and the trade fair advisory board. The feedback indicated a desire for an earlier date and for the trade fair to be held annually.
The trade fair is being moved from its originally planned September date to early summer. The new date falls within the established timeframe of the international industry calendar for manufacturers, brands and the media. The annual cycle replaces the biennial cycle that had previously been under discussion.
Eurobike 2027 will focus on three compact B2B days. Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and international trading companies will meet decision-makers and business partners. The trade fair sees itself as a platform for manufacturers and technology innovators from all relevant markets and manufacturing countries. A network of sales partners in over 150 countries supports the international outreach.
The trade fair aims to reflect global developments in the sector, covering powertrains, components and new technologies. Ecomobility, as a growth area, encompasses urban mobility, logistics, connected systems and new mobility solutions. In 2026, half of the trade visitors came from abroad.
In 2027, Eurobike will move to Halls 3, 4 and 5, situated around the Agora in the eastern part of the Frankfurt exhibition grounds. The central open space provides room for test tracks and demonstration areas. The adjacent Forum and the Festhalle will be available for partner events and networking.
The new engagement formats include bookable meeting rooms for business discussions. The trade fair focuses on targeted matchmaking and formats designed to foster international business connections. The cumulative reach reported in the media monitoring stands at 13.5 billion.
Philipp Ferger, Managing Director of Fairnamic GmbH, explains: “With the event taking place at the end of June and on an annual basis, we are ensuring reliability and continuity.” Matthias Pietsch, Show Director at Eurobike, adds: “Three focused B2B days during which new products are showcased, decisions are prepared and business deals are initiated.”
