Highlights from the BIKE Festival on Lake Garda 2022
Over 160 exhibitors on more than 25,000 m² of festival space and 60,000 visitors heralded the start of the 2022 MTB season on Lake Garda at the weekend. These were the highlights of the biggest BIKE Festival in history.

A colourful mix of exhibitors presented bikes, clothing, accessories and much more at the Riva BIKE Festival, where visitors were also able to discover one or two new products or try them out for themselves, such as on the wheelie machine at the Crankbrothers stand. Of course, there was no shortage of biking either: whether in marathons, kids' races or enduro races, there were plenty of opportunities for visitors and MTB enthusiasts. The BIKE team didn't miss out on this either. Editor-in-chief Henri Lesewitz and test lab employee Dominik Scherer set off on the Ronda Extrema. Online editor Sandra Schuberth and test lab manager Christoph Allwang chose the Ronda Grande.

The Italian manufacturer Benozzi has developed a tuning cage for twelve-speed derailleurs. The 120 gram lightweight component is milled from an aluminium block. The pulleys are also made of aluminium. The oversized rollers (14/18 teeth) are designed to keep the chain under better tension. The cage is designed to prevent objects from becoming wedged in the derailleur and causing the derailleur to break, especially in enduro use. The Fast Light derailleur cage is available for Shimano and Sram drivetrains and costs 250 and 298 euros respectively. The Italian manufacturer Benozzi has developed a tuning cage for twelve-speed derailleurs.
