Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide: The second half of the season gets underway – plenty of highlights!

Bike Kingdom in Lenzerheide and Arosa will be open daily until 18 October, with selected mountain railways operating until 23 October. Weather permitting, the season will be extended into November, running until 20 November. The Alpenbikepark Chur will remain open daily until 25 October. Highlights include the Family Bike Vibes from 7 to 9 August, Red Bull Downtime on 22 August and the Bike Kingdom Testride from 4 to 6 September, featuring over 50 bike brands. The entire trail network remains open, and there are two bike parks available. The Learning Lab, which opened in 2026, complements the facilities on offer for beginners and children.

Open until late autumn

In Lenzerheide and Arosa, all lifts and trails will be open daily until 18 October. Selected mountain railways will even run until 23 October. If the weather permits, the November warm spell will extend cycling season until 20 November. Until 15 August, late risers can take advantage of the Late Shred offer: the five lines at Bike Kingdom Park will remain open until 7.30 pm.

The Chur Alpine Bike Park will be open daily until 25 October. After that, snow and weather conditions will determine whether it is open at weekends. Dedicated mountain bikers will find technically challenging trails with high-alpine panoramic views in the hidden gems of Welchtobel and Medergen. The high-alpine trails ‘Dark Side of the Moon’, ‘The Great White’ and the Älplisee Trail are snow-free and rideable in late summer and autumn.

Those who prefer less high-altitude terrain will find a colourful and enjoyable ride through autumnal forests at Piz Scalottas in Lenzerheide or on the Hörnli Trail in Arosa.

Family Bike Vibes and Red Bull Downtime

From 7 to 9 August, Arosa will be all about shared trail adventures at Family Bike Vibes. The programme includes activities for children, trail rides at various levels of difficulty and riding technique sessions. An Event Village will provide a supporting programme.

Red Bull Downtime kicks off in Lenzerheide on 22 August 2026. Competitors will race down the STRAIGHTline World Cup course and battle it out for the fastest time of the day.

Bike Kingdom test ride featuring 50 brands

From 4 to 6 September, more than 50 bike brands will be setting up shop at the Bike Kingdom Testride. Switzerland’s biggest bike test event offers the chance to try out the latest 2027 models on the lines and trails at Bike Kingdom. Numerous other exhibitors will be showcasing their range for visitors to try out.

The Kids Cup supports young downhill riders

The Bike Kingdom Kids Cup is heading into the final two races of the season. The race at the Alpenbikepark Chur takes place on 16 August, followed by the final in Lenzerheide on 12 and 13 September. Up-and-coming talents aged between 6 and 16 will compete in six age categories, getting their first taste of downhill racing in a professional competitive environment.

Learning Lab for Beginners

Opened in 2026, the Learning Lab teaches children and beginners more than just riding technique. The concept combines technical training with trail etiquette: how should you behave on the trail? What should you bear in mind when dealing with other riders, obstacles, fences or herds of cows?

The clearly laid-out site combines fun technical training with realistic trail scenarios. Children and beginners learn how riding technique, a spirit of adventure and respect for nature, animals and fellow human beings all go hand in hand. Experienced riders can refresh their knowledge and hone their skills. As a result, the young riders move about Bike Kingdom safely, fairly and considerately.
