GripGrab focuses on the Pacr Thermal Long-Sleeved Top a stretchy, close-fitting cut. The jersey has a standard fit and is available in sizes S to XXL. In our test, the fit scored 1.5 out of 5. Even in a sporty riding position, the cut fits snugly against the body without noticeably restricting movement in the shoulder area.
The wide silicone waistband prevents the jersey from slipping and keeps your lower back reliably covered. This really pays off, especially on long rides and more technical trails.
In terms of weather protection, the GripGrab scores 2.0. It therefore provides a noticeable barrier against chilly wind, splashes and brief rain showers, without, however, matching the protective capabilities of models that are significantly more weather-resistant.
The fully covered front zip reduces direct airflow across the chest. The zip garage improves the fit at the neck, whilst reflective elements enhance visibility in low-light conditions. This design is well-suited to typical autumn and spring rides with fluctuating temperatures.
However, if it rains for any length of time, a rain jacket remains the better choice – or at least a sensible addition to your kit.
With a retail price of 140 euros, the GripGrab Pacr Thermal Long Sleeve is one of the more affordable models in the comparison test. At the same time, it achieves the top mark of 1.0 for features and functionality.
Features include a silicone waistband, a zip garage, a covered zip, numerous reflective elements and a handy zipped pocket. The latter is ideal for keys, a card or other small valuables that need to be kept separate from the contents of the back pockets.
It is precisely this combination of practical features and a reasonable price that explains why it was named the best value for money in the test.
In the ‘Weight and Pack Size’ category, the GripGrab scores 2.5. Weighing in at 295 grams, this model is heavier than several of its lighter competitors in the test.
If you want to carry as little extra clothing as possible, there are more compact alternatives available. On the other hand, the Pacr Thermal Long Sleeve provides sufficient insulation for cooler temperatures and deliberately takes a slightly more robust approach than ultra-lightweight weather jerseys.
With an overall score of 1.8, the GripGrab ranks amongst the most impressive all-rounders in the comparison. The model scores particularly highly thanks to its successful combination of fit, features and price. Whilst it doesn’t quite match the top scores of the best specialist bad-weather gloves when it comes to weather protection, it does offer excellent suitability for everyday use and an attractive price.

At 140 euros, it remains the Pacr Thermal Long Sleeve Significantly cheaper than many of its competitors, whilst offering an exceptionally comprehensive range of features. The close-fitting cut is comfortable, and the silicone waistband and reinforced zip ensure a secure fit. In terms of weather protection, it doesn’t quite match up to the best bad-weather models, whilst its weight and pack size are also only average. For mountain bikers looking for a versatile long-sleeved jersey for cool and changeable conditions, the GripGrab is nonetheless one of the most interesting value-for-money picks in the test.
