Nox Cycles from Austria presents the Amplifier P2, a new enduro e-bike. But it's not just the aluminium frame that's new, the motor is also new to the Nox range. In addition to the BMZ RS motor and Fazua's Ride 60, the Tyroleans are also relying on Shimano for the 2025 model year. Depending on the model, the Amplifier P2 features the Shimano EP600 resp. EP801. A BMZ V10 removable battery with a capacity of 820 watt hours serves as energy storage. This is located under a cover in the down tube and can be folded out forwards in the classic manner.

Visually, the Amplifier P2 is reminiscent of the Light-E-MTB Nox Epium with Fazua Ride 60 based on this. The frame shape and damper linkage are very similar. However, the Amplifier is made from aluminium rather than carbon. The suspension travel is generous and ends up at 180 millimetres at the fork and 170 at the rear. The E-Enduro should be available from the second quarter of 2025.

Battery technology and warranty
Nox pays particular attention to the battery technology. The built-in BMZ V10 battery with a capacity of 820 watt hours should also enable long tours. Nox offers a warranty of up to 10 years on this battery for the first owner. However, this warranty only applies if the prescribed annual maintenance is carried out by an authorised Nox service partner. If the battery capacity falls below 70 per cent, the battery will be replaced under warranty.
Marco Klimmt, Managing Director at NOX Cycles, explains: "With this guarantee, we are emphasising our confidence in the quality of our e-bikes and batteries. While other manufacturers offer a maximum of 2-3 years, our 10-year guarantee is a clear sign of longevity and reliability." The particularly long warranty, especially on the battery, is no coincidence. After all, the battery giant BMZ is now the owner of the Nox Cycles brand.

Frame and geometry
The Nox Amplifier P2 has an aluminium frame, which can also be protected by an optional extra-long warranty. For 89 euros, buyers can choose the "Lifetime Warranty + Crash Replacement Service" option. With ample suspension travel and flat geometry, the chassis should be equipped for demanding tours in any terrain.

The suspension travel is 180 millimetres at the front and 170 millimetres at the rear. The NOX is therefore aimed at bikers who also want to be able to ride on rough terrain. According to the manufacturer, the suspension should offer a high level of comfort and good control.
