With the e-Siryon v2, Forestal is launching its first E-Enduro with a power motor onto the market. The new model comes with the popular Avinox motor from DJI. The predecessor was still equipped with its own light drive, which was developed in collaboration with Mahle.
After five years of development since the company was founded in 2020, the bike is set to set new standards in the E-Enduro segment. So far, the Andorrans have only published a preview of the model, which still leaves some details open. However, pre-orders are already being taken through specialist dealers and online ordering will start in February 2026.
Even though the Forestal brand is still a very small player in German-speaking countries, all the bikes that we have been able to test from this small brand so far have impressed us. The handling and chassis in particular stood out. The predecessor was only held back by its special electric motor. An issue that should now be history.
Forestal is positioning the e-Siryon v2 as the top model in its own product range. The bike is therefore aimed at riders who want to combine maximum performance with long suspension travel. The Avinox drive promises the necessary power for demanding trails. The revised suspension system is designed to ensure control and efficiency at the same time.
The Avinox drive from DJI forms the centrepiece of the new e-Siryon v2, although Forestal has left details about the motor open. Only the designation "Avinox" can be found in the manufacturer's description. The 800 battery is used as the energy source, permanently installed in the down tube.
Forestal wants to combine a lot of power and range with a low weight. An approach that the previous model already had. The motor should provide sufficient power for steep climbs and technical passages. It is seamlessly integrated into the carbon frame of the enduro bike.
The patented Twin Levity suspension system has been completely revised for the second generation. The engineers further developed the kinematics and geometry to fulfil the requirements of e-bikes with a powerful motor. The system is designed to support an aggressive riding style while ensuring pedalling efficiency. The combination of Avinox drive and Twin Levity promises precise control on demanding terrain.
The new Alpha Box v2 frame features a complete redesign of the Forestal design language. Sharper lines and more pronounced contours give the e-Siryon v2 a more aggressive look. Despite the changes, the design language remains unmistakably Forestal. The design follows functional aspects and aerodynamic considerations - according to the company's marketing texts.
Forestal has dispensed with the internal cable routing on the headset for the new model. This decision allows greater flexibility in component selection and simplifies assembly. Buyers of framesets and screwdrivers benefit from easier handling. The external cable routing is in line with the company's current design approach.
The component selection is orientated towards the intended use as a power e-enduro with plenty of suspension travel. Oneup supplies the cockpit, Schwalbe Gravity tyres are designed to guarantee traction and puncture protection on demanding terrain. And Sram's Maven brakes promise the necessary braking power for the heavy e-bike. This philosophy runs through both equipment variants of the e-Siryon v2.
The e-Siryon v2 Diōde in Gloss Raw Carbon & Gold is the top version of the series. Forestal advertises it as the pinnacle of E-Enduro performance for the most demanding riders. The price is 9600 euros including 21 per cent VAT for the Spanish market - what this means for the exact prices in other regions of Europe is currently unclear. The final prices for other markets will be available when ordering starts.
The Halō version in Pearl White & Dark Grey is positioned as a more affordable alternative, but still remains in the upper price segment. It aims to strike a balance between performance and price. Forestal promises full suitability for tough downhills. The price is 7500 euros including Spanish VAT. Both versions use identical frames and motor components.
Pre-orders via authorised dealers are already underway. Online ordering will start in February 2026, with delivery scheduled for spring 2026. The prices quoted are based on the Spanish market with 21 per cent VAT. Final prices for other markets will be available when ordering starts.
Even if we don't know too much about the new Forestal Siryon V2 yet: We're really keen to test the new E-Enduro. Because all the Forestal bikes we've been able to test so far have impressed us in terms of handling and suspension. With the Avinox drive from DJI, the bike now also has a really successful motor - that sounds very promising. - Florentin Vesenbeckh, Test Editor BIKE Magazine
