Young, cheeky, funny: Nils' and Filip's video application
"We offer you to test freeride and enduro bikes free of charge." These were the words of two 13-year-olds in their cheeky application video for the "Make a wish!" reader campaign.
For days, Filip Rostock and his mate Nils Wermeckes (both 13) had been pondering how they could prepare for the BIKE reader campaign "Make a wish!" should apply. Just write an email saying that they would like to test awesome bikes, just like the editors at BIKE magazine do all day long? Too uncreative, they thought, and made a video.
Inspired by YouTube stars like Danny MacAskill, Nils and Filip like to make films of their bike sessions with their side stand hardtails. Find out whether the two youngsters have convinced us with their video in the fourth part of "Make a wish!" in BIKE 12/19 - on newsstands from 5 November.
