Decathlon has unveiled the Rockrider E-ACTV 100, a new e-bike from this series. The bike is designed to combine the advantages of a city bike and trekking bike and is suitable for touring in the city and countryside. Above all, easy repairability is said to be a key feature of the new E-ACTV 100. This is based on a special concept.

The new E-ACTV 100 from Decathlon Rockrider is designed to impress with its simple and inexpensive repairability as well as its versatility - it is designed for both the urban jungle and for trips into the countryside. The new easy-to-maintain e-bike comes as a high- and low-entry version. No special tools are required to carry out maintenance work. All Decathlon workshops are specially trained to carry out repairs on the E-ACTV 100 quickly and efficiently.

According to the manufacturer, particularly relevant components were identified during development through a value analysis and the product design was customised accordingly. The Rockrider E-ACTV 100 uses tried-and-tested components from many well-known manufacturers and therefore offers a budget version that does not skimp on features. The E-ACTV series already includes the 500 and the 900sThe latter is also the most expensive, currently costing 2700 euros. The 100 model now presented rounds off the portfolio at the lower end and costs 999 euros.

Features of the Rockrider E-ACTV 100 from Decathlon

The Rockrider E-ACTV 100 offers numerous technical features:

  • Rockrider brushless motor: This motor is mounted on the rear wheel and is said to offer a maximum output of 250 W and a torque of up to 45 Nm.
  • Three support modes: Eco, Normal and Boost - in Eco mode, the E-ACTV 100 should achieve a range of up to an impressive 70 kilometres.
  • 36 volt lithium-ion battery: The battery is integrated into the frame, removable and rainproof (IPX5).
  • Microshift RD M21 rear derailleur: Six gears can be changed effortlessly via a twist grip.
  • Rockrider Trekking suspension fork: 60 mm suspension travel for additional comfort
