SQlab road bike jersey SQ-Jersey ONE12 XS
SQlab presents the SQ-Jersey One12 XS performance jersey. The manufacturer from Taufkirchen near Munich already has a range of ergonomic bike trousers and matching saddles. Now comes a skintight cycling jersey.

The ergonomics specialist praises its new SQ-Jersey One12 XS road bike jersey as the perfect top for long-distance rides and mountain tours. The jersey is extremely light, breathable and elastic in all directions. A seamless collar and bonded cuffs provide additional comfort. It also has a practical waterproof back pocket for small items such as keys or energy bars.

Two test pilots tried out the jersey in sizes L and XL. Their first impression was that the cut is tight and short, which particularly appeals to trained athletes. However, the wide collar means that vests are visible underneath. In midsummer, you should protect your shoulders and back with sun cream to avoid sunburn.

What the testers found SQlab road bike jersey not to my liking

We have noticed that it is difficult to open the front zip with one hand, as the jersey material is very stretchy and does not offer enough resistance to the zip. The "zip garage" does not always fulfil its purpose either, as it folds down. However, all jersey pockets fit well and offer sufficient space for items. Narrow hands are best suited for loading and unloading due to the narrow openings.

The jersey in black was convincing in the racing bike position due to its cut - however, the upper body should not be too long, otherwise the belly button will be visible. Without a pocket load, the jersey tends to ride up a little at the back, as the gel print at the waistband lacks some elasticity. Our tester has yet to form a wearing impression as she has only ridden a few kilometres with her test jersey.
