Leader in terms of breathability
Rain jackets fail to achieve their goal if the membrane cannot transport the body's own water vapour from the inside to the outside. The rule here is: a jacket is considered very breathable if it has a vapour permeability of 10,000 g/m²/24h or more. The best values are currently an average of 40,000 g/m²/24h, outliers are the MT500 rain coverall and the MT500 II jacket from Endura Protective did not want to settle for the average and has developed a membrane that transports 60,000 g/m²/24h of water vapour. This puts the P-New Age among the front runners in terms of breathability and promises optimum climate control, even on intensive rides in the rain.
Reliable rain protection with hood
With a stated water column of 20,000 mm, the 3-layer jacket is also in the upper range in terms of waterproofness. This good rain protection is due in part to the minimised and ergonomically positioned taped seams. With a weight of 338 grams (size L), the P-New Age falls into the lightweight jacket category, although there are also models weighing less than 300 grams.
Comfortable equipment
In addition to ample freedom of movement, the manufacturer emphasises the abrasion resistance of the ripstop outer material. In the shoulder area, it is designed to withstand the strain of a rucksack. The adjustable hood can be rolled up small. The wide, high collar is lined with fleece and the adjustable cuffs can be adjusted to fit any wrist. Reflective details ensure safety and the back pocket and a lockable inner pocket provide additional S. The P-New Age is available for Ladies in sizes 36 to 48 and for Gents in S to 5XL.
