The weather hoodie from Poc is very comfortable to wear thanks to its stretch material and the cut was to our liking (height: 1.78 metres, size M). The outer material is water-repellent and can withstand even small rain showers.
Good for the environment: a CFC-free DWR coating is used here. Also good: the zip pocket on the back and the small opening on the chest, which serves as a goggle holder.
However, the disadvantage of hoodies is their narrow range of use. Jackets with zips can be opened when it gets too warm, hoodies can only be opened a little. I often got too warm on the trail with the POC hoodie - perhaps zip openings at the armpits would have helped here.
In shortI reached for my weather jacket more often than the POC hoodie.
