The Cube Agree C:62 SLX is one of the models affected.
Some Cube road bikes from model years 2025 and 2026 may no longer be ridden - there may be serious technical defects. The German manufacturer has therefore recalled certain batches of the Agree C:62. Cracks can form on the carbon fork above the brake mount, which can pose a considerable risk during use. New forks for the carbon road bike are currently being produced and should be available from mid-January 2026.

The German bicycle manufacturer Cube has issued a product safety recall for all Cube Agree C:62 road bikes model years 2025 and 2026 that were delivered before 30 November 2025. All model variants and frame sizes of the Agree C:62 series are affected. According to the manufacturer, some carbon forks have shown cracks above the brake mount. The analysis of the reported cases has shown that a change in the resin material from model year 2025 could lead to individual forks having too little resin in the affected area. Cube emphasises that the use of affected bikes must be discontinued without exception and with immediate effect until the fork has been checked and the affected forks have been replaced. Only use on a roller trainer is still possible, although the manufacturer also advises regular fork checks in this case.

Safety risk on the Cube Agree C:62

In rare cases, the fork may no longer fulfil the safety and quality standards defined by Cube under high braking loads. Under these conditions, brake overload can lead to delamination - i.e. the outer carbon layers peeling off. This could cause cracking and a considerable weakening of the fork structure, including breakage of the left fork blade. The product defect described increases the risk of an accident, which could lead to material damage and serious or fatal injuries. For safety reasons, every affected fork must therefore be checked and replaced if necessary, according to the manufacturer.

Review Cube Agree C:62

Owners of a Cube Agree C:62 can use the frame number (WOW number) to check whether their bike is affected by the recall. The frame number is located on the bottom bracket and on a silver identification sticker, which is attached to the left chainstay or to the underside of the top tube or down tube, depending on the frame shape. The frame number starts with the initial part "WOW", followed by five numbers and then four letters. Only the numbers and letters need to be entered for the check in the tool provided, the initial part "WOW" is not required.

Exchange process Cube Agree C:62

According to Cube, it is working flat out to provide replacement forks. The first replacement forks are expected to be available from mid-January 2026. Further deliveries will be made continuously and at short intervals until the full supply is secured. The manufacturer emphasises that all replaced forks will match the original paintwork of the respective bike. Both the inspection and the replacement of an affected fork are free of charge for customers, as this is a product safety recall.

Processing via specialised dealers

The complete processing of the recall must be carried out by authorised Cube dealers. Owners of affected bikes should contact the dealer from whom they purchased their bike or, alternatively, a Cube dealer in their area. The specialist dealer will carry out a full inspection and replace the fork on site. The serial number of the carbon fork in question is located in the steerer tube and is only accessible when the headset is removed. This work should only be carried out by a specialist, which is why Cube recommends contacting an authorised specialist dealer for the inspection.

Notes for new wheels

All Agree C:62 models, which will be delivered by Cube to specialist dealers with immediate effect, have already been tested and are not affected by the recall. However, the delivery date for new orders may be postponed, as the affected forks on bikes already on the market must first be replaced. The manufacturer asks for your understanding and says it is working flat out to deliver all outstanding orders as quickly as possible.
