Price-performance cracker Giant Anthem Advanced Pro 2 on test
The Anthem is the biggest surprise in the test. For just 5199 euros, Giant sends a competitive fully with tuning potential onto our test track.

Giant lays the foundation with the record value among full-suspension frames. Equipped with cheaper Shimano SLX components and Fox Performance suspension in line with the price point, the Anthem cannot fully realise its potential on the laboratory scales. Nevertheless, at 11.53 kilos, the bike remains within reach of the significantly more expensive competition from Scott and BMC. On the trail, the Giant wins the hearts of the testers with its central riding position and wide cockpit. Direct, confident and with the feel of a trail bike, the Anthem always remains in control of the terrain.

Conclusion on the Giant Anthem Advanced Pro 2:

Max Fuchs, BIKE test editor: It's amazing how well the Giant can keep up with the more expensive models despite the price difference. The equipment is less high-quality, but fully functional, making the Anthem a great value for money for marathons and technical tours.
