Lector FS: Ghost's new race and touring bike
Anne Terpstra already stood on the World Cup podium with the Ghost Lector FS in 2020. But the new MTB fully from Waldsassen can do more than just race fast.

The new World Cup Fully Lector FS is radical and leaves nothing to be desired on the descent - measured by the range of use. That's the marketing promise. But Ghost also backs up its promise with facts. 120 millimetres of travel at the front and 115 mm at the rear, combined with a flattened geometry and a deeply retractable and fully integrated dropper post from Eightpins. With its sophisticated rear triangle, the Ghost Lector FS could almost pass for a trail bike. The new MTB full-susser from Waldsassen will not be available until May 2021. for BIKE 2/21 - on sale from 5 January 2021 - but we have already completed a test ride with a prototype.

The entry-level model (Essential) of the Lector FS will cost 3499 euros. The Pro model will change hands for 6499 euros including full XTR equipment, carbon wheels and high-end DT Swiss suspension. There is also a World Cup version for 7599 euros. Ghost is launching a total of five models of the Lector FS for 2021.

The Lector FS is a World Cup racer with extra-long suspension travel. The bike has already collected World Cup medals as a prototype and will be launched on the market for end consumers in 2021.
