Last summer, Sella Italia worked on a new, environmentally friendly production process. Automated production is intended to minimise the environmental impact, be ecologically sustainable and produce saddles at fair prices. The so-called Green-Tech process enables the Italians to produce bicycle saddles without using environmentally harmful adhesives and polyurethane. The first saddle to be produced using the Green-Tech process is the new X Green Superflow.
The seat shell of the X Green Superflow consists of two components that are flexible in different ways and are designed to provide a high level of comfort. The third component of the saddle is the frame made from an iron-carbon steel alloy, which is designed to be stiff and flexible at the same time.
