TRP is celebrating its brand anniversary with the Anniversary Edition Evo Pro. This elegant special edition, limited to 500 sets, combines World Cup styling with modern, high-performance technology.
Brake specialist TRP is celebrating a double anniversary: 40 years of pioneering brake technology from TEKTRO and two decades of concentrated racing experience under the TRP banner have culminated in an exclusive highlight for mountain bikers. With the launch of the Anniversary Edition EVO PRO, the manufacturer is releasing a strictly limited special edition of its current high-performance platform, which combines the brand’s rich heritage with modern gravity and World Cup racing.
The brake features an elegant, hand-polished, silver-anodised finish. In doing so, TRP has deliberately drawn inspiration from the iconic design of the former G-Spec DH. For years, this brake defined the image of TRP’s team riders in the Downhill World Cup and remains inextricably linked to the historic triumphs of downhill legend Aaron Gwin. This successful racing DNA is being seamlessly carried forward today: The athletes at Frameworks Racing rely on the latest EVO PRO. Just how capable the system is was demonstrated only recently by the exceptionally talented Asa Vermette on his debut in the Elite World Cup in South Korea, where he promptly secured victory.
From a technical perspective, this special edition is based entirely on the current, tried-and-tested EVO PRO, which was designed without compromise for tough conditions in downhill, enduro and demanding everyday bike park riding. It combines high braking performance, precise modulation and an absolutely consistent braking feel, thanks to its high stability – even on the longest and steepest descents.
In the major BIKE comparison test featured in BIKE 5/2026, the TRP Evo Pro came out on top – scoring top marks for usability and modulation, and the TRP was also right up there with the best in terms of braking power. The test editors’ conclusion: “With the Evo Pro, TRP has created the blueprint for the perfect balance between braking power and modulation – all wrapped up in a well-thought-out overall package.” Click here for the BIKE brake test!
To achieve this, TRP utilises an innovative hybrid piston technology that effectively reduces heat build-up and maintains stable performance even under extremely high sustained loads. The practical, completely tool-free adjustment of lever reach and pressure point ensures optimum ergonomics and adaptability on the trail.
The exclusive Anniversary Edition is supplied in specially designed, prestigious anniversary packaging. Each of the exactly 500 sets available worldwide is individually numbered and comes with a limited-edition collector’s card. As a special treat for fans, some of these collector’s cards have been autographed by the drivers of the Frameworks Racing Team.
The Anniversary Edition EVO PRO is now available from the official TRP online shop, as well as from selected specialist retailers and distribution partners.
