Trek’s 2023 “Rail 9.7 Gen 4” model is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed for demanding off-road adventures. The price for this model is 6,999 EUR. The main frame is made from OCLV Mountain Carbon and features a 1.8" lower top tube that is compatible with the Bosch System Controller. The bike is also fitted with a Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) and offers numerous features such as Knock Block 2.0, guided internal cable routing and a 34.9 mm seat tube diameter. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 136 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 24 kg.

For the brakes, Trek has opted for SRAM Code R 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear, with a 200 mm SRAM CenterLine brake disc and rounded edges. The saddle is a Bontrager Arvada with steel rails and a width of 138 mm, whilst the seatpost is a TranzX JD-YSP39 with 170 mm of travel and internal cable routing. The motor is from Bosch and is a Performance Line CX Smart System model with a magnesium motor housing and a torque of 85 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is also from Bosch, equipped with the Smart System. The charger is a standard Bosch charger rated at 4 A and 230 V.
