Trek Procaliber 9.6

The 2022 Trek Procaliber 9.6 is a high-quality mountain bike that stands out for its precision build and advanced technology. The frame is made from OCLV Mountain Carbon and incorporates the IsoSpeed system, which absorbs vibrations and thus enhances riding comfort. The tapered head tube and Knock Block provide additional stability and steering precision. The internal cable routing and the Balanced Post Mount disc brake mount contribute to a clean, uncluttered appearance and reduce maintenance requirements. With a total weight of just 11 kg and a maximum rider weight of 136 kg, this model offers an impressive combination of lightness and robustness.

The Procaliber 9.6’s braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes – specifically, MT4100 brake levers and MT410 brake calipers, fitted to both the front and rear. The Shimano RT56 brake discs, with a 6-hole mounting and a diameter of 180 mm, ensure reliable braking performance in all conditions.

The Bontrager Kovee Comp 23 wheelset with Rapid Drive 108 hubs offers rapid acceleration and high stability. The Bontrager Arvada saddle, with CrMo rails and a width of 138 mm, and the Bontrager Comp seatpost made from 6061 aluminium round off the comfortable riding experience.

The Procaliber 9.6’s geometry is designed to offer an optimal balance between agility and stability. With a seat tube length of 54 mm, a top tube length of 68 mm and a head tube angle of 69 degrees, the bike offers a balanced riding position. The seat tube angle is 73 degrees, whilst the chainstay length is 43 mm. The wheelbase measures 119 mm in total, which contributes to stability at high speeds.
