Like the BMC Teamelite 01 XT, the Trek Procaliber 9.7 SL is very stiff, very direct and confidence-inspiring.

At first glance, the Iso-Speed joint is not noticeable. However, the movement in the specially moulded seat tube is visible; it bends in the direction of travel and then snaps back again. The seat angle is flat due to the system, which encourages this movement. Compared to the Iso-Speed system on the Trek Domane road bike, you don't feel the comfort as clearly because the bike's tyre swallows much more of the ground than a road bike tyre inflated to seven bar. When you're pedalling, for example downhill, the system doesn't cushion. A disadvantage compared to the BMC.

PLUS Stiff frame, sporty handling
MINUS Only works when seated, flat seat angle, 31.6 mm seat post

BIKE comfort measurement: 7.7 mm
