Trek Powerfly FS 9 Equipped Gen 2

Trek’s 2022 “Powerfly FS 9 Equipped Gen 2” is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 7,299 EUR, this bike offers an impressive combination of performance and features. The frame is made from Alpha Platinum Aluminium and features a removable integrated battery (RIB), a tapered head tube, internal cable routing, Motor Armor, magnesium shift levers and ABP (Active Braking Pivot). The frame is also fitted with rack and mudguard mounts and offers 100 mm of suspension travel.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 136 kg, whilst it weighs 27 kg. Optimal braking performance is provided by front and rear Shimano XT M8120 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with Shimano RT76 discs (203 mm, 6-hole disc mount). The saddle is a Bontrager Commuter Comp, fitted to a Bontrager Line dropper seatpost with 100 mm of travel.

Additional comfort and functionality are provided by Trek Powerfly FS Custom mudguards, a Pletscher Comp Flex 18 kickstand and a MIK-compatible aluminium luggage rack. The motor is a Bosch Performance CX with a magnesium housing, delivering 250 watts of power and 85 Nm of torque. The battery is a Bosch PowerTube with a capacity of 625 Wh, and the display is a Bosch SmartphoneHub.

The bike’s geometry comprises a seat tube length of 42 mm, a top tube length of 59 mm, a head tube angle of 66 degrees and a seat tube angle of 68 degrees. Other dimensions include a head tube length of 13 mm, a chainstay length of 47 mm, a standover height of 71 mm and a wheelbase of 121 mm.
