Trek Powerfly FS 7 Gen 3

Trek’s “Powerfly FS 7 Gen 3” model from 2024 is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at €6,499, this bike offers a wide range of technical features and specifications that make it an outstanding companion on challenging trails.

The frame of the Powerfly FS 7 Gen 3 is made from robust Alpha Platinum Aluminium and features a removable integrated battery (RIB). The tapered head tube, internal cable routing and Motor Armor contribute to the bike’s durability and stability. The frame is also fitted with a derailleur hanger, rack and mudguard mounts, and an ABP system, and offers 100 mm of suspension travel. The maximum load capacity is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg.

Reliable and powerful braking performance is provided by the SRAM DB 8 hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes at both the front and rear, each with a 200 mm brake disc. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano SLX M7100 12-speed shifter. The RockShox 35 Gold RL fork, featuring DebonAir suspension, Motion Control damping and a lockout, offers 100 mm of travel and is specifically designed for e-MTBs.

The bike is fitted with VP-536 nylon platform pedals, an ethirteen espec Plus crankset with 165 mm crank arms and a Shimano Deore M6100 cassette (10–51 teeth, 12-speed). The Powerfly FS 7 Gen 3 is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX motor with Smart System, delivering 85 Nm of torque. The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and can be charged using the Bosch standard charger (4 A, 230 V).

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 42 mm, a stack of 60 mm, a seat tube length of 40 mm and a top tube length of 56 mm. The head tube angle is 66 degrees and the seat tube angle is 68 degrees. The head tube length is 14 mm, the chainstay length is 47 mm and the standover height is 69 mm. The wheelbase is 118 mm.
