Trek Kickster

The "Kickster" model from the "Trek" brand, released in 2022, is a balance bike designed specifically for children. It is available at a price of 224 EUR and stands out for its robust construction and child-friendly features. The frame is made from Alpha Silver aluminium and measures 12 inches, ensuring stability and lightness. The Kickster weighs just 3 kg, whilst the maximum load capacity is 23 kg, making it easy for young children to handle.

The Kickster’s fork is also designed for 12-inch wheels and is made from Hi-Ten steel, which offers additional stability. Pedals are not included with this model, as it is a balance bike intended to help children practise their balance before moving on to a bicycle with pedals. The handlebars are one-piece and integrated, specially designed for children and fitted with Kraton grips that ensure a secure grip.

The headset is also designed with children in mind and features a steering stop that prevents extreme steering angles, thereby enhancing safety. The Kickster is fitted with Innovia tyres in size 12 x 1.75, which provide good grip and stability. The saddle is padded and integrated to maximise comfort, and the seat post is also integrated, making it easy to use.
