Trek’s 2021 “E-Caliber 9.8 Gen 1” model is a high-quality e-mountain bike that stands out for its advanced technology and well-thought-out features. Priced at EUR 9,999, it is aimed at discerning riders who value quality and performance.

The frame of the E-Caliber 9.8 Gen 1 is made from OCLV Mountain Carbon and offers excellent stability and control thanks to IsoStrut technology and the tapered head tube. The frame features Knock Block technology and internal Control Freak cable routing. With 60 mm of travel, the bike ensures a comfortable ride across a wide variety of terrain. The maximum rider weight is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 16 kg.

Reliable braking performance is provided by the Shimano XT M8120 hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes, fitted to both the front and rear. The disc brakes measure 180 mm at the front and 203 mm at the rear, ensuring excellent braking power in all riding conditions.

Gear changes are controlled by the Shimano XT M8100 12-speed shifter, which enables precise and rapid gear changes. With dimensions including a reach of 40 mm, a stack of 61 mm, a seat tube length of 39 mm and a top tube length of 58 mm, the bike features a sporty geometry. The head tube angle is 68 degrees, the seat tube angle 72 degrees, the head tube length 9 mm, the chainstay length 45 mm and the standover height is 77 mm. The wheelbase measures 113 mm in total.
