Scott Strike eRIDE 940

The 2022 Scott Strike eRIDE 940 is an e-bike priced at 4699 EUR. It features a robust alloy frame with Virtual 4 Link Kinematic (VLK) and is compatible with both 27.5-inch and 29-inch wheels. The frame offers adjustable geometry and is fitted with Boost 148x12mm axles, enabling 140 mm of suspension travel. The maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 23 kg.

The bike is designed for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height. Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT420 4-piston brakes, combined with a front Shimano SM-RT64 CL 203 mm brake disc and a rear Shimano RT-EM600 CL 203 mm brake disc. The drivetrain consists of a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed system, operated via a SRAM SX Eagle Single Click shifter.

The Marzocchi Z2 Air fork offers 140 mm of travel and is specifically designed for eMTBs. It features Rail 3 technology with three modes (Rebound Adjust, Lockout) and a 15x110 mm QR axle. The Strike eRIDE 940’s handlebars are Syncros Hixon 2.0 Rise made from 6061D.B. alloy, with a width of 760 mm, a rise of 20 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. The stem is a Syncros FL2.0 made from 6061 alloy, with a 6-degree angle and a length of 50 mm. The Syncros MD30 rims are tubeless-ready and have a width of 30 mm. The Maxxis Rekon tyres measure 29x2.6 inches and, thanks to their EXO construction and dual-compound technology, offer excellent grip and durability.

Additional features include Syncros Comfort lock-on grips, a Syncros ER2.5 saddle and a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5 seatpost, which offers different travel lengths depending on frame size (100 mm for size S, 125 mm for size M, 150 mm for size L and 170 mm for size XL).
